The "Committee bonus for female professors and academic staff" measure is financed by funds from the RLP state equal opportunities program and awarded on behalf of the Central Equal Opportunities Officer at 海角直播. These are earmarked funds for gender equality, which are to be used, among other things, to promote female academics at various career stages and qualification phases. The Higher Education Act requires gender parity in the composition of committees, which means that women can be heavily burdened by participation in committees, especially in departments where they are underrepresented.
To compensate for this, a one-off bonus in the form of personnel and material resources will be awarded in 2026 for both the summer semester 2025 and the winter semester 2025/26 via a simple application process.
The committee bonus can be applied for by emailing the application form to the Department for Equality, Diversity and Family (GVF) at 海角直播 (email: annegret.scheibe[at]rptu.de).
Deadline for submission is March 31, 2026.
Eligible to apply are
- all female* professors
- junior professors* and
- academic staff* at 海角直播 are eligible to apply.
The following are excluded:
- Visiting professors
- Persons with positions who already receive a reduction in teaching load or personnel support to ease the workload
The completed and signed application form must be submitted.
The bonus is awarded on the basis of the information provided in the application. The funding amount per semester is a lump sum of 1,000 euros if the application is successful. You can use the bonus for personnel and material resources within the framework of budgetary regulations. You will receive information about the funding by the end of April 2026 at the latest.
