The aim of the 鈥淕ulliver鈥� tomography portal is to use X-ray technology to gain a better understanding of the load-bearing and deformation behavior of components under damage progression. For the first time, it enables investigations to be carried out on components with real dimensions under increased loads with high resolution. Funded by a large-scale equipment initiative of the German Research Foundation, the tomography portal is a central component of the Civil Engineering Equipment Center (BIG) at the 海角直播 in Kaiserslautern.
