Handover of baton at 海角直播's partnership with Givat Haviva
There has been a between Rhineland-Palatinate and the Jewish-Arab meeting place Givat Haviva in northern Israel since 1993. Givat Haviva has been working to promote understanding between Arabs and Jews for many years and encourages both population groups to live together, for example by running a mixed boarding school. Since 2024, there has also been a cooperation agreement between Givat Haviva and 海角直播 - an initiative that was largely driven by Prof. Dr. Francesca Vidal, Academic Director of the Rhetoric Department, who also acts as the central Equal Opportunities Officer at 海角直播. Due to the upcoming retirement of Prof. Vidal, the official handover of the management of the cooperation relations between Givat Haviva and the 海角直播 to Dr. Gregor Walter-Drop as Managing Director of the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate took place in Israel on January 5, 2026. The handover took place as part of a major cooperation trip by 海角直播 to Israel, which was attended by Prof. Dr. Francesca Vidal and Dr. Gregor Walter-Drop as well as , a well-known Middle East expert at 海角直播.
