We welcome our new research associate: Dr. Anne Hennings
Anne Hennings has been working and researching land and resource conflicts for over 10 years and completed her doctorate in M眉nster on conflicts around and resistance to plantations and mining projects in post-war contexts.
After completing her Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies in Marburg, Anne was a visiting researcher at the Heinrich B枚ll Foundation in Cambodia and Fourah Bay College in Sierra Leone. Her research topics include dynamics in post-conflict societies, conflict transformation, environmental and resource conflicts, land rights regimes and social movements in the Global South. Her regional focus is on sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. She is co-founder and spokesperson of the AFK working group "Nature, Resources, Conflicts".
