University prize for digitally supported teaching
The Peace Academy congratulates Janpeter Schilling on receiving the Teaching Award for Digitally Supported Teaching for his online excursion "Hamburg - City in Transition, City of Contrasts".
Digitalization is one of the major challenges in education. The University of Koblenz-Landau Teaching Award therefore recognizes teachers who rise to this challenge and develop meaningful concepts for the use of digital tools in teaching or for the digitalization of their teaching. As excursions were not possible during the lockdown, but were nevertheless an important part of the course, the online excursion offered a successful solution during the pandemic and made it possible for all students to take part.
