On 1 May 2019, Dr. Charlotte Dany took over the management of the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate. Dany researches humanitarian crises and organizations. She previously worked for many years as a research assistant at Goethe University Frankfurt, conducted research in the USA and Scandinavia and completed her doctorate at the University of Bremen. Jun. Prof. Dr. Janpeter Schilling, who has headed the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate since April 2018, will remain with the academy as academic director as part of his junior professorship for land use conflicts.
