The year 2022 has once again highlighted the many facets and challenges of peace and conflict research, which is also reflected in the Peace Academy's various research projects, events and projects. The Annual Report 2022 gives you an insight into all our activities and invites you to review the past year from our perspective.
Russia's war in Ukraine had a major impact on the year. The Peace Academy contributed to opening up controversial and sometimes narrow debates by offering platforms for critical discussion and thus bringing a wide variety of people into conversation. The climate crisis also accompanies our research and public relations work. Extreme weather events around the world are increasingly highlighting the urgency and magnitude of this crisis and underlining the relevance of our scientific and peace education work.
