Charlotte Dany presented the Peace Academy RLP with its tasks and its special structure, as well as the current activities with a concrete connection to democracy. The Peace Academy RLP researches and works on conflicts within democracy, but also around democracy itself. With the rise of right-wing populism, these conflicts about democracy are often conducted in the name of democracy - which makes it so difficult to respond to them. It is therefore the aim of the Peace Academy to help ensure that as many people as possible actively engage with democracy and to make these conflicts the starting point for learning processes. The Peace Academy is currently involved in the #1832HAMBACH2021 initiative with several events of its own: on 25.6. it is organizing a on the intellectual debate within the AfD; on 10.7. the '.
