LIFEum3: CRISPR/Cas9 - Why is it helpful to cut genes? (Prof. Dr. Tanja Maritzen)

The CRISPR/Cas method, often simply referred to as gene scissors, makes it possible to specifically modify the genetic material in our cells. This lecture will explain how this actually works and why it opens up numerous new possibilities for us in our research as well as for medical professionals. Experience our LIFEum3 lecture series by experts on current research topics in biology and take the opportunity to ask questions directly. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of biology! After the lectures, you will have the opportunity to chat with the researchers in the caf茅 over snacks and refreshments, ask questions and delve deeper into the subject matter.
