"Welt in Unordnung - Gerechter Friede im Blick" is the programmatic title of the Peace Memorandum of the Evangelical Church in Germany published in November 2025. The text sees itself as a "further development of the Protestant peace ethic" in view of the changing global political situation. However, some critics also see it as an adaptation to the spirit of the "turn of an era", to the logic of deterrence and militarization.
Foreign policy expert Tobias Lindner, peace and conflict researcher Christoph Weller and church president Dorothee W眉st will discuss the political applicability and aims of the new peace memorandum.
